1. Start clean
Cleanse and pat skin dry before applying. Use in the evening — AHA and BHA actives can increase skin's sensitivity to light.

2. Apply the mask
Each mask comes in two pieces. Remove the white backing from each piece and apply mud-side down to the upper and lower face. Once both pieces are in place, peel away the clear backing and press gently to contour around your nose and chin. The mask feels cool and lightweight on application.

3. Leave it to work
Leave on for 10 minutes while the clay dries and the actives get to work. Do not exceed the recommended time.

4. Peel and rinse
Peel away cleanly in one motion — the sheet format means the clay lifts away with the mask. Rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry, and follow with your usual moisturiser. Apply SPF the following morning.

Pro-tip: Use once a week in the evening for a visible same-session result. Skin will feel visibly smoother and your serums will absorb more effectively the following morning.

Use Regularly: For clear and refreshed skin, use the SmartMud™ mask regularly as part of your weekly skincare routine.

Leave On: Allow the mask to dry for the recommended time of 10 minutes or until it begins to tighten. Don't overdo wear time to prevent over-exfoliation.

Rinse Off: Gently rinse off the mask with lukewarm water, using circular motions to exfoliate for added benefits.

Follow Up: Apply your regular skincare products, such as a moisturizer and sunscreen, to lock in the pore cleansing benefits of the Smartmud masks.
