How To Use

Step 1: Prep Your Face
1. Clean and Dry Your Face: Begin your nighttime routine by thoroughly cleansing your face to remove any makeup, dirt, or oils.

2. Dry Your Skin: Pat your face dry with a clean towel to ensure your skin is clean and dry before application.

Step 2: Apply the Top Portion
3. Unfold and Apply the Top Portion: Gently unfold the top portion of the mask and apply it to your face, aligning it with your eyes, nose, and mouth contours.

Step 3: Apply the Bottom Portion
4. Unfold and Apply the Bottom Portion: Similarly, unfold the bottom portion of the mask and apply it to your face, ensuring it fits snugly along your jawline and chin.

Step 4: Let the Mask Work
5. Leave On for 5 Minutes (or Longer): Allow the mask to rest on your face for at least 5 minutes. For a more intensive treatment, leave it on longer if desired.

Step 5: Remove and Finish

Overall I don't think you can go wrong with a Patchology mask. Masks are so tricky and as a consumer hard to know what all the complicated ingredients are and which ones are something you should put on your face and which ones are mysteries that you might never want to put on your face. My esthetician carries this brand so I trust it. I do like the thicker texture of this mask, but find it comparable to their other masks with this same material/texture combo with the exception of one - if I had to pick only one I would choose the Hydrogel Face Mask with Cannabis and Sativa every time.

I washed my face just before applying this mask. I have to point out that since this is a one-size-fits-all it's very large on my face. I don't mind, except when I take a deep breath through my nose the overhang is in the way. This can be cut if it bothers you. Speaking of which, if you have long or sharp nails, be careful applying this mask as it (like all gels) rips easily. It's actually nice & cooling. It's in 2 parts - upper & lower. As you'll see in the pics, I have the bottom overlapping the top. On the page description it indictates you'll start to see results in 10 minutes. I plan on holding them to that. I will say that I've noticed a tingly feeling on my forehead which is nice. // The timer just went off but I plan to leave this on for a few more minutes as suggested.// OK, mask off. Excess serum blotted into skin. My skin looks very nice but is it noticeably different? Not that I can see - but it feels very nice. The tingly feeling I was getting when I had the mask on leads me to think that over time I would see a difference. My skin is starting to feel a bit tacky as the serum dries. // After a few hours, my skin still feels nice. While I can't vouch that I see any difference, I can say that I certainly one.

I liked that this gel mask comes in two pieces that you place onto your face. I feel like it is a little bit better this way when using a "one size fits all" kind of mask. This way you can position each piece where you want it and don't need to decide which part of your face should not line up to the holes perfectly! The gel is very cooling feeling as you place it on. It will rip a bit if you try to move it or if you poke it, but it is overall pretty easy to work with. You only need to relax with it on for 10 minutes, but can do longer if you like. I did longer and noticed the mask dries out pretty quickly after that 10 minutes, but I was still able to leave it on for probably about 30 minutes with no problem. It did leave my face looking bright and clear and my skin feeling soft. When I woke the next morning my face still looked refreshed. It's hard to say much about how great it is for the skin with just one treatment, but it did seem very nice. I feel like the current price of $10 for one mask is a bit high though. I would love to see this in a multi pack. Their website says they do not test products on animals, so that is another plus. I really enjoyed this at-home treatment for my face, so if the price seems okay to you, I'd say it is worth a try.

Patchology's company slogan is "beauty at the speed of you" and they promise to "create products that keep up with your busy schedule, whether you’ve only got 5 minutes, or you’re ready to slow down and have a little fun." These single use, jelly style masks work like a sheet mask, only a bit harder to apply (if this gets stuck together, or you have damp hands, forget it). They do feel pretty cool going on—come in two parts, top half and bottom—and Patchology says you can get the effect in just 10 minutes. Though I normally prefer to do my masks, sheet or otherwise, while in a bath, the warm, steamy environment is not the best for this sticky gels, so these are better as an on-the-couch treatment. You can also keep these in the fridge for a little extra cooling and easier application. This hydrating mask is designed to be used on clean skin and features Retinol, Peptide, Collagen and Centella Asiatica, to help both mitigate signs of aging and hydrate aging skin. Skin did feel hydrated and smooth after use. The biggest downside, besides the iffy application, is the per use price. But if you want to try something different or splurge for a stocking stuffer or beauty gift bag, this is a unique treatment and does feel really nice on.

The hydro mask was easy to apply and it stayed put on my face. I did not notice any additional sleeping or calming benefits that any other sheet masks didn't provide. Personally, I do not care for hydrogel mask and this mask was no different as it barely provides any hydration. It left my skin feeling softer but, I still had to follow up with a moisturizer to keep in the hydration. I would recommend putting this in the fridge if you're using it on a hot day.

I have been using sheet masks for a while, but I was really happy to see this is a WHOLE HYDROGEL mask! I feel like this is perfect for masks with products like retinol that you really want to have time to soak into your skin, not evaporate into the ether. Anyways, the day after using this mask my husband said "Oh, you're looking really pretty today." I feel like the cooling hydrogel and the retinol made me wake up with a fantastic complexion.

The gel material of this mask is cooling and refreshing to wear. It's over-sized and contained plenty of product in it to not only cover my face but also had some to apply with my fingers onto my neck and chest. The gel weight and ingredients caused a temporarily smoothing of my skin leaving it super soft and hydrated. It contains a retinol ingredient that did cause a very minor amount of skin peeling, so I had to wear extra sun screen for several days following using the mask. Nice luxurious feeling mask that did help with refreshing my skin.
